Welcome to the Adrian Gilbert website. Since the publication of "The Orion Mystery" in 1994 I have received many hundreds of letters from readers around the world. Owing to the pressures of work, it has not proved possible for me to answer every single one of these personally. For this I apologise to the correspondents concerned. However as a next best thing I have put together this website where hopefully you will find answers to many of your queries. I intend to reply to more general points raised in the form of these open letters. I know this is not quite the same thing as receiving a personal reply through the post but please bear with me over this as the pressures I am under are not getting less. On the contrary, I find that the more I have extended the scope of my work into different fields (the pyramids, Mayanology, King Arthur and so on) so the the areas of my concerns have increased. I now intend to put together sheets of FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions) garnered from letters sent to me and to attach these to the web-page for each of my books. That way those who are interested in King Arthur, say, may find that someone else has either raised a point or asked a question which corresponds with a matter of personal concern to them as well. The FAQ on the subject will be linked to the page about the book in question (in this example "The Holy Kingdom").
I have also set up a discussion billboard for news and gossip which can be reached from the main index menu in the leftmost frame of the screen (fourth button down). I hope people will make use of this for active discussions. I don't profess to know everything and I am very keen to hear views and comments from others. Hopefully, if this takes off, we can all share our thoughts on these subjects and turn this open forum into a worthwhile "newsgroup". If you prefer to send me a private message then press button five. This will generate an Email shell which you have only to fill in and send. For this you have no need to start up Outlook Express, Eudora or any other mailing program.
Within the confines of these news letters I will try to keep you up to date (as far as I am allowed to for reasons of confidentiality) with what is happening in the fields of the various "quests" in which I am currently engaged. As you will appreciate, this is a fast moving world and things are changing from day to day. There is certainly very much going on in the background, only a little of which gets publicised in the mainstream media.
Finally, I have been asked by a number of people whether I would be willing to set up a study circle or give them some private tuition concerning personal transformation along the lines of the Hermetic tradition. Till now I have shied away from such a big responsibility feeling that I was myself neither old enough nor experienced enough to fulfil such a role. However, now that I have turned fifty (having successfully completed my first seven times seven years and therefore entered into a fresh octave of life) I am thinking again about this. If there is enough genuine interest then I may put together a course of "home-study" and make this available to those I feel would be able to benefit from this. The exact form that this might take I have yet to work out but if you think this may be of interest to you, then I would urge you to send an Email and I will put your name onto the list of prospective students. If there are enough names on the list, then I will endeavour to put together such a course.
